Sailing through treacherous weather conditions and with about a third of the contender yachts pulled out of the race, the supermaxis are pressing on off the coast of Tasmania. Leading the way by SHK Scallywag but the race finish honour is still very much up for grabs at this time.

This year's race has attracted contenders from USA, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Philippines.
